Planes, buses and automobiles.
'Home' from Kaduna/Kano around 7 last night; formal dinner at 8; meeting with vice president at 9:30; back to hotel by 11:30; leaving in about 15 minutes (6 a.m.) for flight to Lagos and last leg of trip. You can see why I don't have time to post all the fabulous things we've seen in past couple of days. Will soon.

OK, so did you bring the "clothes iron" home with you? That photo made me giggle.
I feel so guilty because I've been doing nothing but lazing around, sleeping and reading all weekend!
So cool that you got to talk to ordinary journalists. I'm not surprised people are trying to use your trip for political purposes. I'm sure there are many U.S. papers that would frame it in the same way if they were trying to promote Bush or tear him down.
Take care. No one's quit or been hired here (yet), although there was a brief in the paper about Aaron Sanderford quitting the governor's office in February and going to work for the World-Herald (not sure doing what).
